Lawyer Fernando Giuri passed the profession qualifying exam in September 2014 and is a member of Bar Association of Modena since January 2015. In 2017, he obtained the master degree in “Expert in the implementation of Model 231 “- IPSOA Training School (Bologna, Italy). He is enlisted in the National List of Office Defenders. He is included in the List of Lawyers for legal aid with economic support by the Italian legal instutition. During the internship, carried out at the associated law office Chiossi – Corradini – Stefani in Modena, he achieved specific expertise in criminal law. He collaborated with avv. Roberto Ghini and with the lawyers Lorenzo Bergami, Francesca Neri, Pier Francesco Rossi and Nicoletta Tietto.

Activities areas

He is a member of the “Carl’Alberto Perroux” Criminal Chamber of Modena. In 2017/2018, he was secretary of the course management committee for training in the exercise of the criminal defense function.
He deals with the so-called “black criminal law”, specifically crimes involving drugs, murders, robbery, theft, receipt of stolen property, money laundering, extortion and sexual violence.
He has expertise in “criminal business law”, and in details with tax offences, bankruptcy and corporate crimes and administrative offences of legal persons according to Legislative Decree 231/2001.
Furthermore, he manages the so-called “white-collar crimes” (corruption, bribery, undue induction, office abuse…) and personal prevention and anti-mafia measures and assets (expulsion, special surveillance, preservation measures, confiscation…).
Finally, he provides assistance both in the field of traditional judicial cooperation (extradition), and in the legal cooperation context in the European Union (E.A.W. or European arrest warrant).

Since March 2021 (for the next two years) he has been a member of the Prison Observatory and Supervisory Magistrate of the Criminal Chamber of Modena: a body appointed to study the regulatory and practical problems of the penitentiary system and the prison situation, to examine the legislative production in penitentiary matters, as well as monitoring the correct functioning of the Modena Surveillance Office.
